The 20 amp mppt charger has been great so far. I am very pleased with it. It keeps my 100 amp AGM battery in good shape, much better than the pwm one I have been using. I should have got the mppt in the beginning. I use a 100 watt Rich solar panel to power basic needs to my small hunting shack, which includes DC lights, a security camera, iphone charging, a small DC fan and a small 15” TV. This charger has maintained the battery to allow all the power I need, never falling below 12.6 volts with all my usage.
Works well. Install is a little challenging because the frame doesn’t allow a straight shot onto the mounting screws. Both #8 socket heads screws to run them in with a box wrench. Manual is lite on details. Lost some parameters as adjustable that I haven’t found how to adjust yet. Doesn’t hav an AGM program listed so has to set up a custom profile. It’s budget friendly though.

I was having issues with my old controller from another manufacture which lead to more research and this controller is awesome. I have two 100w panels in series going into it and its doing a great job of getting all the power out of them and shows me all the info I need to monitor as well.
I have it set up in my jeep to control the power from my rich solar 150w solar panel I mounted on top the vehicle. So far so good, I chose Rich Solar because I heard they were a reputable and serious brand compared to some others from many experienced solar technicians and youtubers. It truly does protect the battery and goes into float mode when needs to. I love it! I hope it lasts a long time and am looking forward to the good times it'll support.

Had trouble with the first units LCD screen working. Customer service handled the problem promptly and sent out new unit immediately. They even sent return label and arranged for pickup of the faulty unit. The new unit works flawlessly. Thanks Jan, Ozzie and Jerome. Rich Solar customer service is second to none.

Does what it says on the website
Received promptly, works well in my system. Does not read current when charging battery through controller from power supply ? Possibly I am doing something wrong. I made an inquiry and have yet to hear back from Rich Solar.
Great product for the price. Only issue is the terminals need to be tightened down on wire really tightly to prevent them being loose. Would highly recommend for any hobby solar project.
Bought this as a replacement for a much simpler 10A Controller. I love the info this unit shares via its LED screen. Keeping track on incoming juice, battery charge, usage, etc is so easy. Hooking it up was very simple. So far, so good!

Overall, the hardware has worked as advertised. I’ve tested it quite a bit and feel comfortable moving forward. My only complaint is I sent one support email months ago that was never answered.
First one quit working after two months with little use. Reached out to get some help but no response. I liked the design and price so I took a chance on another one. So far so good.
