Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 10 reviews.
Just received the 100W panels. Testing out on my older Rich 1200 W battery.
The unit was showing about 170W charge going into the unit in bright sun
Ordered two Mega 100 Watt Portable Solar Panel Briefcase. The picture says it all. These panels rock! One complaint, the plastic connectors are brittle, the locking tab on one broke on first use and a second one the connector split.
This panel is built like a tank. Very heavy and heavy duty. Seems to be on par with the rated output as well. Got 95W today with full sun and ever so slight haze. Two things make it 4 instead of 5 stars. One, the weight - it is really heavy. The use of lighter metals would make it more portable although you do have the ruggedness of steel. The second thing is the latches. Time will tell but they seem a bit flimsy. Considering how the rest of the panel was built, the latches could have used a little beefing up.
I'm new to solar and after researching solar products I found Rich Solar to be more suited to my needs. When added all up Rich Solar offers better product quality, product features, cost and customer service.
My intent is to have a reliable power back up source at home during emergencies and while camping.
Thank you.
I am impressed. They actually work. I use them mostly to recharge a large battery. My guess is that they will pay for themselves in approx 6 months b/c I then use the battery to power lamps, appliances, and recharging laptop, phone, etc.
Purchased a 100W breif case for chargeing an echo flow finally got some sun to try out ,the battery was about 33% was able to charge full in about 5 hours very happy with the purchase
Used the 100W panel to keep my power station charged for a week long camping trip. Works really well so far on sunny days charging and keeping my power supply up. Was able to keep my power station full all week so that I could always charge all my electronics (phone, go pro, cameras, fishing electronics, trolling motor...)
I’ve been researching off grid options for some time. I work remotely and now that I’ve got the yeti 500X and bought RICH SOLAR 100w briefcase solar panel. The products are well-made and they work beautifully.
