Customer photo review of 50 Amp DC to DC Lithium Battery Alternator Charger with MPPT

I have the RS-MPPT50DC installed in our 2018 LTV UIB under the passenger seat and so far it is working as expected. The real test will come after I upgrade our solar panels to 600w and the coach battery to Lithium 320a. Note that the BT-1 module from Rich Solar is not compatible with the charger. You will need to get the BT-2 module if you want to access the charger using Bluetooth.

50 Amp DC to DC Lithium Battery Alternator Charger with MPPT

Been running this charge controller for a few months. I have 650 watts solar running to it and my alternator connected with 1/0 welding cable. Can’t seem to ever get more the 20 amps from my alternator to it. I have a 150 amp alternator from auto zone on my powerstroke. Going to upgrade my alternator to an after market 400 amp unit to see if I can get the 50 amps it says it’ll do. Anyways seems to take 2-3 days to charge my 480ah batteries if I run them down. I was hoping it would charge them a lot faster
