Easy to use and works well. Luckily it is easy to use. It came with no instructions for use or how to set up. The web page downloads list had nothing but specs and has nothing on how to use the charge controller. I requested some information for the charge controller and was sent a link that was quite informative and would have been nice to have at the start.

I wanted the 100W briefcase without the controller as it specs out to be a match for a discontinued Harbor Freight briefcase I need to replace. I tried to order it a few months ago and the order was canceled by you. Your website has shown your briefcase with no controller on "back order" for several more months. With summer boon docking season approaching I decided to spend the extra $50 on the model with the controller and plan to remove it. The briefcase arrived in good shape and appears to work as a stand alone unit. I will need to take a soldering iron to it to disconnect the controller and to chain the panel into my current configuration. It will be a couple more weeks before my schedule allows time for this. Four stars is all I can do. I bought, you shipped, it arrived working. I spent $50 too much, I need to re-wire it and don't know if it will balance with my current (pardon the e-pun) panels and will solve my problem. I do know the pushy automated emails requesting feed back got old real fast. Sorry that my manual reply to your automated concern was on back order. chuck PS: your disclaimer below the feedback box says my review will be publicly shared. RICH SOLAR MEGA 100 Watt Briefcase Portable Solar Charging Kit

Ok these are in replace of my 1 cgis 3m stick 80w flex panel for roof of my camper, DISASTER! total break down, constant lack of consistant power, overheating, poor power(40w) max, hours waisted checking rich 20 amp mppt controller, cleaning cooling panel moving camper around ext.. surface protective cover actually tore then rolled up under highway driving, 1 full hour pulling entire panel off from 3m glue, i have more then 2 years in my camper & 4 different types of solar brands, systems experience. I have 3 months now on these 100w foldable. These are really nice great little case nice protectors on corners (very important!) latches are decent a bit small so they may not survive they are metal which is great, stands are easy to fold out with 1 hand, nice, also all metal, frame all metal & controller pwm is more then I hoped for, no need for mppt with this size. Well angeled stands the panels got me wopping 13.7 -14.8v! LOVE THAT! at 1st controller read outs look crazy over detail but as you use the panel its nice to see the job its doing in detail. Ok now most important.. U can push 73 -79w in cool breeze full sun well angeled the panels WILL improve as you use them again nice! (1st 3 uses 60-68w) I have hit 80w most recent but for only short period perfect conditions. Who knows maybe it will continue to improve a few watts more? I have used the panels 7 times I felt that was a reasonable test amount. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE ABLE TO USE THEM IN HIGH HEAT AS YET, this is still a very very important test to come. Heat is not your friend. Im of course hoping with the nice thick temp glass quality bitchen looking black purple energy surface plenty of air circulation underneath maybe it will continue to reach better then 70w? Final note upon receiving my panel** 1 wire was tore out of controller, latches bent & seperated, velcro stick on controller came apart, ALL EASY FIXES. Happy travels.

Bought this product bc Will Prose said good things. Over all im happy but i knocked off a star bc some nuts were loose and i had to put locktite on them myself. A few of the screws/nuts are loose but are locked in place bc of locktite. I expected better from rich.

RICH SOLAR MEGA 100 Watt Briefcase Portable Solar Charging Kit

Great portable panel. Well packaged with zero damage upon receipt. I purchased 1 red and 1 black 30’ charge cord extension. Plugged things together and into my travel trailer, opened the panel, checked the settings which are very intuitive and easy to use and was charging my batteries in 5 minutes. I am looking forward to installing the 3 Rich Solar 100W roof top panels to add to the power generation soon.
